Location | Three Dollar Bridge Fishing Access site on the Madison River – 40 miles south of Ennis, off Hwy 289
Materials | | Monolithic concrete slab, tube steel columns & purlins, steel plate arc trusses & core-ten corrugated metal roofing.
Design Intent |To provide a place to shelter fisherman and travelers from the sun and weather while the view focuses toward the protected land. It also provides a place to narrate the story and history of the site through signage.

The Making of the Three Dollar Bridge Interpretive Shelter
Process of Assembly | The structure was prefabricated in Bozeman. Then, disassembled & reassembled on-site using bolted connections for alignment. It was then welded solid on-site.
