Design Intent | To generate and symbolize the essence of organ donation into a thought provoking memorial for all to share and experience. Pause in the moment ~ Reflect on the past ~ Hope in the future.

Walking between the open space of the two roof forms above interrupts the sunlight between them and is symbolic of a life interrupted. The roof profiles flow in opposite directions - symbolic of two lives each going in an opposite direction. One roof profile directs the flow of rainwater into a pollinator garden - symbolic of a life reborn and the other roof profile directs the rainwater to the shaded hillside - symbolic of a life laid to rest.
