The Lindley Pavilion

Community Projects | The Lindley Pavilion - Unbuilt Structure
Location | Lindley Park, Bozeman MT
Materials | All steel construction and concrete foundation walls set into the landscape.
Design Intent | The yin yang form of the roof profile, as seen in plan view and in elevation, the pavilion focuses and directs the park’s energy away from the residential neighborhood to the east and towards the open space of one of Bozeman’s most loved parks from Buttonwood avenue to the north to the cemetery to the south and west to the Bozeman Public Library.
The organic roof form enables the sunlight to penetrate into the pavilion and is nested into the hillside to present a low profile on the horizon line.
